BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Deposits

We do things a bit differently here!

Instead of taking a deposit from you at the time of booking, we will only charge your card IF YOU DO NOT TURN UP and we are left with an empty table.  We will charge £25 per booked person.  We will, of course, try to relet your table as it is in our interest to do so.

 

For all reservations we require your debit/credit card details. These will be held in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault. For further information, please visit: https://stripe.com/docs/security/stripe.

Most of our fabulous customers understand that "No Shows" can seriously damage small restaurants and they are great at letting us know when they cannot attend but sadly, there are the occasional few who do not.

So, simply put, if you can't come and don't want to get charged, please do the courteous thing and give us plenty of notice.  Every reservation is sent a reservation confirmation email at the time of booking and a reservation reminder email 48 hours prior to the reservation, so it is super easy to select the "Cancel" button at the bottom of one of these emails, provided you're giving at least four hours notice.  You will then receive confirmation of cancellation and no charge to your card.

 

We are unable to honour any unconfirmed reservations without a confirmation email/booking reference. We politely ask that you are ready to be seated at your time of booking or contact us if you are running late. We will hold your table for 15 minutes and will release it if we have not been contacted.

 

To ensure that we can cater for you appropriately, please notify us of any dietary requirements prior to your visit. Although we have a couple of vegan dishes on our menu, we are not a vegan/vegetarian restaurant so please ensure you are happy with the available menu choices BEFORE booking.  Due to the complexity of our kitchen, we are unable to accommodate those with severe gluten sensitivity.

 

Children 6-14 years are very welcome at tables, with adults, seated before 6.30pm. We do not have high chairs or baby changing facilities. Due to the age of the building and slightly uneven floor, tables cannot be moved or pushed together. By making a reservation at The Terrace Tapas and Wine Bar you agree to our reservation and cancellation terms.

 

YOUR RESERVATION IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED WRITTEN EMAIL CONFIRMATION WITH A BOOKING REFERENCE
